The movie “Siblings” is a story that sheds light on the lives of hidden siblings.
Nozomi (Miho Nakanishi) has a younger sister, Kie, who is mentally challenged, but has yet to tell her boyfriend, Takashi (Rikuto Kumaki), about Kie’s existence. One day, he proposes to her, and when she tells him about Kie, he is confused. From there, Nozomi is confronted with a series of problems peculiar to a family with disabilities, and despairing over her life, which is far from a “normal” life, she tries to give up on her marriage to Takashi. However, one thing leads her to reconsider her life.
